Amy L. Kowalski
As COO/CFO Advisor at The Madison Group, I handle many different tasks, from supporting my teammates through tough situations to answering compliance questions to researching challenging issues. I feel most accomplished when working with intention, in building, encouraging and strengthening our team — because it’s the heart and soul of the organization.
“I am a better person today than I was yesterday because of working with The Madison Group. I am so grateful for the personal feedback, tough conversations, growth opportunities, joy, knowledge, laughter and kindness experienced with my partners. We are a cohesive and caring community — in serving each other, we in turn, bring unparalleled service to our clients and advisors.”
I joined The Madison Group in 2006 and have taken on many new roles and responsibilities over the years. Prior to joining the firm, I received my Bachelor of Science in Accounting and Finance, cum laude, in 2003 from The University of Colorado. I worked at both local and international recruiting firms, driving culture and operations on a national level, while overseeing 36 field offices with over 300 employees. In my current role, I oversee the financial and operational aspects of The Madison Group.
As COO/CFO Advisor I am responsible for:
- Financial reporting
- Information technology
- Human resources
- Vendor relationships
When not at work, I love supporting and serving my community. I’m a volunteer with the Turkey Rock Trot — the largest annual fundraiser for the Help & Hope Center in Douglas County, Colorado. I’m also studying to become an End of Life Doula to support and serve a dying person and their loved ones through the final phase of their life, and currently volunteer with these individuals and their families.
I love all things family – my hubby, Kyle, and two kiddos, Colin and Aislyn. I am passionate about being active and am a yoga teacher and student. I’m currently a Level II Reiki Practitioner — a form of hands-on healing energy — and enjoy exploring the outdoors while snowshoeing, hiking, stand up paddle boarding, kayaking and camping.
